Hayden Real Estate

Hayden- Located a few miles north of Coeur d’Alene, Hayden is a scenic little town that was incorporated in 1955. Once known as Hayden Village, this little community started with cattle ranching, lumbering and farming. In the last ten years, Hayden has grown immensely, especially in the younger generations. The quiet, slow paced city of Hayden, with its great schools and parks, has attracted many young couples from all over, to start and raise their families in this safe, friendly environment. Located downtown Hayden, off Highway 95, Triple Play and Raptor Reef Water Park is a wonderful family play center with an indoor water park, inside and outside miniature gold, outdoor go-karts and bumper boats, rock climbing, laser tag, bowling, a ropes course, and an arcade. About a ten minute drive north of town is Silverwood Theme Park, which has roller coasters, rides, and a full water park. Hayden is also home to the Pappy Boyington Field Museum, which is dedicated to the military and aviation history of those who have served in the military from the area of Kootenai County. Hayden is a great community that has, and will, continue to thrive.

Hayden Lake- Just East of the City of Hayden, is the smaller City of Hayden Lake, named for the lake it nestles on. Residents spend their summer days either on the lake boating or relaxing at the sand bar on the east end of the lake, fishing, or swimming and having fun at Honeysuckle Beach on the west end of the lake. Hayden Lake Country Club offers private docks for members, restaurants, events for the whole family and a first-class golf course. Not only is there the Hayden Lake Country Club golf course, but right next to it on Avondale Lake is Avondale Golf Club, with its own Bar and Grill, events, and of course the golf course. For those who love to hike, English Point National Recreation Trail is readily available with about 6 miles of gravel hiking trails perfect for families, back-packers, and even horse-back riders. When the snow falls, residents flee to one of the numerous mountains to take in the beautiful North Idaho scenery while they hit the slopes. Hayden Lake is the perfect, laid-back community that any outdoorsman would absolutely enjoy 365 days a year.
