Rathdrum- Named after a town in Ireland, Rathdrum was originally called “Westwood” in the early 1800’s when it was founded, but received its name change in 1881 due to the fact that there was already a town named Westwood in the territory. Once a popular stopping place among the Native Americans, Rathdrum is now a flourishing little family-friendly town.
